The airline will begin its services at the London airport in June 2024.
Starting June 2024, Singapore Airlines will have non-stop flights from and to London’s Gatwick Airport.
In an announcement, the airline said it will operate five times weekly services in the airport using its Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
The airline will have flights from Singapore to the Gatwick Airport on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The inaugural flight for the route will depart Singapore on 21 June 2024 and arrive in London on 22 June 2024, local time.
Meanwhile, flights from Gatwick Airport to Singapore will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The inaugural return flight for the route will depart on 22 June 2024 and arrive in Singapore on 23 June 2024.
With the addition of Gatwick Airport, Singapore Airlines’ total number of flights to the United Kingdon’s capital has increased from 28 to 33 weekly services.
Gatwick’s addition also increases the number of European destinations in the airline’s network to 14.
