In the early hours of Tuesday, a tragic accident occurred on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands, resulting in the deaths of a 52-year-old male motorcyclist and his 41-year-old female pillion rider. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) pronounced both individuals dead at the scene. The accident involved two lorries and led to significant traffic congestion, affecting bus services during the morning commute. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
